Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller for personal data processed through digitalbillboardbusiness.com is Hashtag Marketing GmbH, Bergstrasse 44a, 6010 Kriens, Switzerland, CHE-158.911.451. Contact: support@digitalbillboardbusiness.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Order data: name, email address, optional phone number, the products you bought and the amounts paid. Used to deliver your access, send receipts and support you. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive a payment reference, the last four digits of the card and the card brand, never the full card number. Stripe stores your payment method so that one-click add-ons and payment plans can be charged without re-entering it, as described at checkout. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Application data: if you apply for the Billboard Partner Program we collect your country, your written situation, your budget answer and your contact details, and we share them with the advisors who run the strategy sessions. Used to prepare and hold the session. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract, at your request.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring URL and the time of the visit, collected by our web server logs and the tracking tools below. Used for security, error analysis and measuring advertising. Legal basis: legitimate interest and, where required, your consent.
3. Cookies, storage and tracking
We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage entries:
- attr (cookie, sessionStorage, localStorage, 30 days): the advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters present on the link you arrived from (for example wacid, wasid, waid, utm_*, fbclid). Used so that a purchase can be matched to the ad that brought you here.
- funnel_pi, funnel_buyer, cd_start_*, whop_purchase_fired_*, whop_ic_fired_checkout (browser storage): your order reference, name and email during the checkout flow, countdown start times, and flags that prevent a purchase from being reported twice.
We use the following third-party measurement tools. Each may set its own cookies and receives your IP address and the page you are on:
- Whop Ads pixel (Whop, Inc.): measures visits and purchases coming from our advertising. Purchase events include the order value and a hashed or plain email address to match the sale to the ad. Privacy policy: whop.com/privacy.
- Meta pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), only when enabled: measures visits and purchases coming from Facebook and Instagram ads. Privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Video hosting (Vturb): serves the videos on this site and records playback statistics. Privacy policy at vturb.com.
- Calendly: scheduling of strategy sessions, only on the application page after you submit. Privacy policy: calendly.com/privacy.
You can delete cookies and storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them does not affect your purchase or your access.
4. Email
Receipts, access emails and support replies are sent through Mailgun (Sinch) from support@digitalbillboardbusiness.com. If you bought a product, we may also send you updates to the method and offers related to it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; transactional emails about your order cannot be unsubscribed from while you hold an active product.
5. Sharing
We share personal data only with the processors named above (Stripe, Mailgun, Whop, Meta where enabled, Vturb, Calendly, our hosting provider) and with the sales advisors handling Partner Program applications. We never sell your data. Some processors are located in the United States; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
6. Retention
Order and payment records are kept for 10 years as required by Swiss accounting law. Application data is kept for 24 months after your last contact with us. Server logs are kept for 30 days. Tracking identifiers expire as stated by each provider.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Residents of the EU and UK also have the right to complain to their supervisory authority. Residents of California may exercise their rights under the CCPA; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@digitalbillboardbusiness.com. We answer within 30 days.
8. Children
Our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
